Newborn Acne Treat

Some parents are dismayed when their newborn perfect face suddenly breaks into small packages of red, the so-called baby acne. Although the condition can be painful, it usually does not bother the child. And how many other difficult stages in childhood, this also happens.

Sometimes, babies have tiny buttons a little red, embossed on the face, similar to acne. This is the acne of the newborn that can start days or weeks of life and may persist for several weeks.

These buttons reflect the obstruction of sebaceous glands by an excess of sebum. At birth, a number of glands have not yet found their rhythm, this is the case with those that govern the balance of the skin.

This acne is mild and most often disappears around the age of three months.

How do I fix this?
Clean the face with a soap-free soap purchased in pharmacies. Rinse and dry the skin but do not apply oily cream.

Note
Acne of newborn is sometimes confused with the phenomena of allergy products milk laundry or toilet. Therefore, for washing a baby, it is better to use the soap flakes and milk hypoallergenic toiletries sold in pharmacies.
