Sometimes, babies have tiny buttons a little red, embossed on the face, similar to acne. This is the acne of the newborn that can start days or weeks of life and may persist for several weeks.
These buttons reflect the obstruction of sebaceous glands by an excess of sebum. At birth, a number of glands have not yet found their rhythm, this is the case with those that govern the balance of the skin.
This acne is mild and most often disappears around the age of three months.
How do I fix this?
Clean the face with a soap-free soap purchased in pharmacies. Rinse and dry the skin but do not apply oily cream.
Apply any of the products or creams soothing anti-irritant, type Physiane. Ask your pediatrician or pharmacist.
Finally, under no circumstances, you do break these buttons as you may superinfection.
